In celebration of Singapore’s 60 years of nationhood, Barclays is committed to deepening its community impact by placing the elderly at the heart of its Citizenship engagements. With a growing ageing population, many senior citizens in Singapore live in isolation with limited access to connection and digital skills. This year’s community initiative aims to bring the kampung spirit to elders, through various activities to foster companionship and empowerment. From August till December, more than 100 Barclays staff will be helping seniors build digital confidence and celebrate their camaraderie through nostalgic kampung games.
